Of Arlington, VA, passed away on February 9, 2014. Beloved husband of Bonnie S. Franklin, loving father of Amy Franklin Giuliano of Alexandria. Also survived by one brother Ernest George Franklin of Ohio and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by one sister, Edith Franklin Cobb. He retired in 1986 after a distinguished career with the National Security Agency. A funeral service followed by a reception will be held on Saturday, February 22, 2014 at Lutheran Church of the Reformation, 212 East Capitol St., NE, Washington, DC at 3 p.m. Inurnment will be at Arlington National Cemetery at a later date.
