Mrs. Lettie Crews Register, age 91, of Glen St. Mary, Fla. passed away Feb. 18, 2014 at her home. She was born to Leighton and Zelphia Babe Crews on May 19, 1922.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Hamp Register, her son, Leamon Pee Wee Register and her parents.

Mrs. Lettie made her living with her husband on their family farm, growing cattle, timber, tobacco and garden vegetables. She drove the school bus for Baker County schools for over 25 years. She enjoyed cooking, gospel music and taking care of her grandchildren. She was a member of the Christian Fellowship Temple, Macclenny, Fla., the Florida Farm Bureau and Florida Flu Cured Tobacco Growers.

Mrs. Lettie is survived by one daughter, Glenda Register of Glen St. Mary, Fla.: Two sons, Sonny (Peggy) Register and Terrell (Sally) Register both of Sanderson, Fla. Two sisters, Vera Eddy of Callahan, Fla. and Lydia (Everett) Davis of Bryceville, Fla.: Sister-in-laws, Minnie Crews of Glen St. Mary, Fla. and Imogene Register of Jacksonville, Fla.: Ten grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

The family would like to thank Jack and Janice Williams, Carolyn Crews and Aunt Ruth for their support during Granny's illness.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11 A.M. Thursday, Feb. 20, in the Christian Fellowship Temple with Rev. David Thomas and Rev. Tim Thomas officiating and assisted by Rev. Jim Bob Register. Interment will be in South Prong Cemetery, Sanderson, Fla. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 P.M. Wednesday, Feb. 19, at the Church. GUERRY FUNERAL HOME, U.S. 90 East, Macclenny, Fla. is in charge of arrangements.
