TUSCALOOSA | Heather J. Ryan, age 32, of Tuscaloosa, died Feb. 17, 2014, at DCH Regional Medical Center. Services will be 6 p.m. Thursday at First Wesleyan Church with Joel Gorveatte officiating and Memory Chapel Funeral Home, a Dignity Memorial Provider, directing.
Survivors include her husband, David Ryan; daughter, Ashlyn Ryan; sisters, Bonnie, Lindsey, Rebecca, Caitlin, and Mary; brothers, Justin, Joe, and Richard; parents, Linda Smith and Curtis Hagood (Jacque); grandparents, Bill and Joan Smith; and in-laws, Mary and Chuck Stringham.
She worked in Financial Accounting for the University of Alabama, and was an active member of First Wesleyan Church and IBC-Inflammatory Breast Cancer Network.
Pallbearers will be Joe Ryan, Richard Ryan, Jamey Graham, Andy Slaten, Ken Thomas, and Keith Strickland.
Honorary pallbearers are the University of Alabama Accounting Dept., First Wesleyan Church, and Southern Dining Resources.
