Tifton - Ira Mark Stone, 55 of Tifton, died Sunday, February 2, 2014, at Tift Regional Medical Center. Funeral service will be held Tuesday 11:00 A.M. in the chapel of Albritton- Beaumont Funeral Directors with Dr. F Evers and Dr. D Ray officiating. Interment will follow at Pinetta Baptist Church Cemetery in Irwinville, Georgia. The family will receive friends on Monday evening from 6:00 - 8:00 P.M. at Albritton- Beaumont Funeral Directors.

Mr. Stone was born on May 13, 1958 to James T. Stone and Iris Walker Stone. He was preceded in death by his Father on April 19, 2006, his brother Lyle on May 4, 2012, his maternal grandparents Ira and Nora West Walker and his paternal grandparents Ward and Clyde Sandiford Stone. Mark always lived at home with his parents. He was physically healthy at a younger age but became mentally and physically challenged as he grew in age. He always strived to overcome his disability which in turn made a positive impact on his family and friends. Despite his mental and physical disabilities, Mark blessed the lives of those who knew and loved him and will continue to do so in years to come. In his younger days when possible, he faithfully attended Northside Baptist Church. Mark had an infectious smile and enjoyed watching "Wheel of Fortune" and bicycling. In addition to his Mother, he is survived by his brother , his sister-in-law,nieces and nephews, along with uncles and aunts all of Sylvester.
