William T. (Bill) McGarrigal, 77, of 252 Cardinal Lane, died at 1 p.m Sunday at Western Baptist Hospital.
A native of Paducah, he was a retired boilermaker supervisor for the Illinois Central Gulf Railroad. He had been employed by the railroad for 51 years and retired in 1969. He was a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. John McGarrigal and member of Immanuel Baptist Church where he served as a deacon and was a member of the Hubert Bell Sunday School Class.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Nell Harrison McGarrigal; three nephews, Charles M. Anderson, Nashville, Tenn., John R. Anderson and Loyd Anderson, both of Paducah; two nieces, Mrs. Lettie Miller and Mrs. Rachel Adams, both of Paducah.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Immanuel Baptist Church with Dr. Bill Cubine officiating. Burial will be in Maplelawn Cemetery.
