Byron C. Dickinson, of 3930 Buena Vista, a retired independent oil operator, died Tuesday in his home.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday in Foust Funeral Chapel in Grapevine. Burial will be in Hillcrest Memorial Park in Dallas.
Dickinson was a native of Cameron, Milam County, and was a longtime Lubbock resident. He moved to Dallas in 1949.
He retired as an oil producer in 1960 after working in Lubbock and Dallas. Dickinson is survived by his wife, Helen, and a sister, Bernice Dickinson.
