Rodney E. Fisher, 85, passed away on Friday, Feb. 14, 2014.

He was born March 3, 1928, in Logan and was the son of the late Gene and Mignon (Culp) Fisher.

He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He was a member of St. Rose Catholic Church, and retired from Lempco after 44 years of service.

Rodney is survived by his wife of 67 years, Betty Dreese Fisher; his children, Mary Ann Tittel of New Lexington, Cathy Sweeney of Junction City, Barbara (Bob) Patterson of New Lexington, Joe (Jamie) Fisher of New Lexington, Steve (Mary) Fisher of New Lexington, Jack (Debbie) Fisher of Zanesville, Emily (Larry) Storts of New Lexington, Tom (Phillip Watkins) of Forest Hills, N.Y., Bill Fisher of New Lexington, and Michelle (Jim) Hudak of New Lexington; 21 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephew, Susie Noll, Peggy Snider and Tom Noll.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his sons, Edward and Danny; sister, Marilyn Noll; and sons-in-law, Bob Tittel and Patrick Sweeney.

Calling hours were held Sunday, Feb. 16, 2014, from 2-8 p.m. at St. Rose Catholic Church, at the corner of Main Street and Water Street, with Rosary at 7:30 p.m.

Mass of Christian Burial were held at 11 a.m. on Monday at the church, with Father John Dreese and Father James Csaszar as celebrants. Burial followed in New Lexington Cemetery.
