Corrine E. Lawler, our beloved wife and mother, departed to her heavenly home Saturday, Feb. 15, 2014. Service: 10 a.m. Wednesday in Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Chapel. Interment: Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday. Corrine was 89 years young, born May 12, 1924, to Carl and Palma Haag. She was raised in North Dakota and Minnesota in a family of sharecroppers. After World War II, she married Harmon Lawler of Fort Worth, where they raised two children. She enjoyed fishing, golf, bingo and crafts, but mostly her grandchildren. Survivors: Husband, O.H. Lawler; son, Timothy Lawler and wife, Ann; daughter, Karen Bird and husband, Jerry; sister, Alice Fogelquist; five grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
