She was educated in the Goldfield school system, and graduated from the Goldfield High School.
She was united in marriage to Carl B. Moser of Vincent on August 31,1921, at Goldfield. The couple farmed in the Vincent area for many years, before moving to Eagle Grove in 1947.
After Mr. Moser's death in 1983, Mrs. Moser moved to the Rotary Ann Retirement Home in Eagle Grove.
She was a member of the United Methodist Church, Troy Culture Club, O.E.S., UMW, and an honorary member of the Weslyan Service Guild.
Mrs. Moser was admitted to the Trinity Regional Hospital, Fort Dodge, on Wednesday, September 19. She died there September 20,1990 at the age of 88 years, 10 months, and 23 days.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son, Dean; two sisters, Nell Elkbloom and Gertrude Drake; and two brothers, Fred and Vern Beaver.
She is survived by one son, Larry and his wife, Faye, Eagle Grove; two daughters, Mrs. Clifford (Doris) Hultgren, Omaha, Neb.; Mrs. Larry (Charlene) Strain, Mason City; and daughter-in-law, Patricia Moser, Eagle Grove; 14 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren; and a sister, Claudia Short, Ft. Collins, Colo.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Saturday, September 22 at the United Methodist Church, Eagle Grove, with the Rev. Scott C. Hall officiating. Burial was held in the Rose hill Cemetery, Eagle Grove.
The Kastler-Babcock Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
