Garner, Orleane H. age 85 beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and dear friend, went home to be with the Lord Saturday February 15, 2014. There to greet her were husband John S. Garner Sr., sons Donald G. & John S. Garner Jr., son in-law Lee h Flatt and grandson Gene Colley and all of her siblings. Orleane was born in Belmont, Alabama on the 18th day of April 1928 to George and Edna Haddock. She was a member of Ridgecrest Baptist Church and The Sunshine Club. She is survived by daughter Paula L. Flatt, daughter in-law Robin L. Waldrop (John A. Waldrop and daughter in-law Lori Garner. Grandchildren Anthony Melton (Pain in the butt), Jennifer Thornton, Erica Garner, John S. Garner III. Elizabeth Waldrop, Erin Waldrop, MyCall, Ashlee and Johnny Garner. Funeral service will be Wednesday February 19, 2014 at 2:00 PM at Ridout's Trussville Chapel with interment to follow in Forest Crest Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to service time on Wednesday.
