Chuck was born in Petersburg, Virginia. His parents are Charles I. Perkinson and Esther Willis Perkinson. His sister is Kaye Perkinson Aguirre. Chuck graduated form the University of Virginia with a BS in Civil Engineering in Electrical Engineering in 1979. He moved to Orlando in 1981. He married Candy Taylor on July 31 1882. They had two sons, Charles Ivan Perkinson III, and Nicholas Taylor Perkinson. Chuck was the Vice President of Research and Development for Advantor Systems where he had worked for 29 years. Chuck was a fine person who has been a wonderful husband and father, and had only kind words for all he knew. He loved traveling with his wife and friends, the warm outdoors, and animals.
