Frank Callier Luther

Frank "Pancho" Callier Luther, 81, passed away Wednesday, February 12, 2014 of natural causes. He was a lifelong El Pasoan. He graduated from El Paso High and Texas A&M. He received his degree in 1954 and a Veteran of the U.S. Army. He is survived by his wife Mary Ann, three children; Frank Bradley Luther, Ann Callier Mahanay, William Frederick Luther, brother; Oliver Luther and step sister Sue Batton. Graveside Service will be held February 20, 2014 at 2:30PM at Fort Bliss National Cemetery.

Named after his maternal great-grandfather, Frank Callier of Dallas, his paternal grandfather also went by Frank Luther. His mother, Margaret Terrell, died when he was about 13 years old. (Margaret was adopted by her step-father, Dr. Scurry L Terrell). Frank used to chauffeur his grandmother (Mary Seely Terrell) around on Sundays in the early 1950's. His father remarried in 1952 to widowed Carolyn Perkins Echols who had two children with her previous husband, Paul and Sue. Carolyn Perkins is a distant cousin of Frank through his Moseley Bedford lineage.
