OBITUARY-
ROSE CREEK -- The funeral for Clarence F. Landherr will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Peter's Catholic Church in Rose Creek, with the Rev. Ruben Spinler officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery, with military graveside rites by the Adams American Legion.
Mr. Landherr, 78, of rural Rose Creek, a retired farmer, died Saturday (June 6, 1998) at Austin Medical Center.

He was born Aug. 23, 1919, on a farm near Johnsburg. On Sept. 2, 1950, he married Delores Schema in Faribault. Mr. Landherr was a World War II veteran and a member of the VFW and American Legion. He enjoyed farming, fishing and hunting.

Survivors include four sons, Steven and Brian, both of Rose Creek, Gary of Lyle and Jeff of Cambridge, Minn.; a daughter, Janet (Mrs. Dan) Nelsen of Rose Creek; 11 grandchildren; and a brother, Richard of Rose Creek. He was preceded in death by his wife, a son and two brothers.

Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at Mayer Funeral Home in Austin and an hour before the service Tuesday at the church. There will be a wake service at 6:30 p.m. today at the funeral home.
