Obituary for Brent Anderson

Brent Michael Anderson, age 31, of Morning View, KY, passed away suddenly at his home on Saturday, February 15, 2014. Brent was a childhood cancer survivor. He was diagnosed with a malignant brain tumor at the age of 7, but went on to lead a very full and normal life. Brent was employed at Brink's, Inc, and was a graduate of Simon Kenton High School and Northern Kentucky University, with a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice.

Brent loved life and lived each day to the fullest. He loved animals, traveling and going on vacations, the outdoors, hunting, target shooting, history (especially the WWII era), technology, and talking with his family and friends. Brent was proud to be a Kentucky Colonel and had attained a black belt in karate. He was also a member of Hickory Grove Baptist Church.

He is survived by his parents, Artie Anderson and Patti Mullins Anderson; brother, Brian Anderson, grandmother, Erma Mullins; fiancé, Christine Siegrist; and many Aunts, Uncles, and cousins.

Visitation will be Wednesday, February 19, 2014 from 5 to 8 p.m. at Chambers and Grubbs Funeral Home in Independence. Funeral services will be Thursday at 11 a.m. at Hickory Grove Baptist Church, 11969 Taylor Mill Rd., Independence, KY 41051. Interment will be at Crittenden Cemetery in Crittenden, KY.
