MOSER RITES HELD FRIDAY

Funeral services were held at St. Paul's Lutheran church in Guttenberg last Friday afternoon for Mrs. John R. Moser, 81, native of Jefferson Township who died at 2:07 last Wednesday afternoon following a long illness.

The services were conducted by Rev. Howard Black, pastor of St. Paul's church, and burial was in the Guttenberg City cemetery in charge of the Tuecke funeral home. Pallbearers were Elmer Morarend, Arno Morarend, Ira Friedlein, Harold Moser, Lester Moser and Al Moser.

Mrs. Elizabeth Moser was born March 13, 1880, in Jefferson Township, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Dietrich Morarend. On December 28, 1898, she was married to John R. Moser in Guttenberg. They were the parents of one son and three daughters.

Surviving Mrs. Moser are her husband, John R. Moser; a son, Elvah at home, and three daughters, Mrs. Ralph Mayo of Omaha, Nebraska, Mrs. Carl S. Allen of Clinton, and Mrs. Ted Kooser of Cedar Rapids.

Also surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Clara Burr of Marshfield, Wisconsin, and Mrs. Robert Hansel of Colesburg, as well as three grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
