WATKINS GLEN: 72, of Watkins Glen, passed away at home at Jefferson Village on Friday, February 14, 2014. The family will receive friends and relatives at the Royce-Chedzoy Funeral Home, 212 E. 4th St., Watkins Glen, on Wednesday (Feb. 19th) from 1:00pm-3:00pm; followed by a funeral service at 3:00pm. Burial will be held at Glenwood Cemetery in Watkins Glen in the spring. Judy is survived by her son Jeff (Verica) Leonard and grand-daughter Angelina of Indiana; sister, Jean Fazzary of Watkins Glen; niece, Sue (Ed) Menio and family of Watkins Glen; and nephew, Steve (Jan) Fazzary and family of Venice Center, NY; and family friend, Tracy Bannon and family of Watkins Glen. Judy was born in Bath, NY, the daughter of Burdett "Dett" and Marion (Koon) Odson. She worked as a Nursing Supervisor and Director of Staff Development at Schuyler Hospital for many years. Judy graduated from Watkins Glen High School. She continued her studies at the University of Buffalo, receiving her nursing Associates; then her Bachelors at Alfred University; and Masters in Adult Education at Elmira College. Judy was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Watkins Glen. She served her community in many years, including with the Schuyler County United Way Board of Directors, Girl Scouts, camp councilor, and as a Red Cross CPR trainer.
