OBITUARY
THOMAS KIBBLE
Thomas "Dafter-Fisherman" Kibble, 60, a lifelong resident of Dafter, Michigan passed away on Sunday, January 28, 2001 as a result of an automobile accident near Cheboygan, Michigan.
Mr. Kibble was born in Dafter, Michigan on September 16, 1940 the son of the late Herman and Frances (Lockhart) Kibble. He enjoyed fishing, playing cards, reading western books, and watching western and war movies.
He is survived by his wife, Rosemary A. Kibble; a son, Jim Kibble of Sault Ste. Marie, Mich.; two daughters, Evelyn (Ken) O'Brien of Alanson, Mich., and Donelda (Todd) Mellinger of Manton, Mich.; a daughter-in-law, Maria Kibble of Kinross, Mich.; and eight grandchildren, Patricia, Krystal, James, Karri, Jamie, Matthew, Dorothy, and Donna. He is also survived by a brother, Edward Kibble of Dafter, Mich.; three sisters, Thelma Grexton of Canada, Marjorie (Ray) Hill of Lansing, Mich., and Anna Mae (Donald) Bonnee of Dafter, Mich.; and a sister-in-law, Geraldine Kibble of Sault Ste. Marie, Mich.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Patricia Ann Kibble in December 1962; and a brother, Robert Kibble in December 1990.
Visitation will be held from 6 until 9 p.m. on Thursday, February 1 at Hovie Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, February 2 at Fundamental Baptist Church with Pastor Bill Lockhart officiating. Burial will be at the Kinross Lakeside Cemetery in the spring.
Memorials may be left to the American Cancer Society.
