Born on Dec. 21, 1938, in Albany, she was the daughter of the late Frederick and Arlene (Havens) Nicholson.
Sandy was a graduate of the Albany Academy for Girls and went on to attend Green Mountain College.
She spent her early years summering in Cleverdale.
In 1958, she appeared in an issue of Seventeen Magazine.
Sandy was employed at the Glens Falls Cement Company for 25 years doing administrative work.
After her retirement, she went on to work for 21 more years at the Bolton Bay Trader in Bolton Landing.
Sandy was also very active in charitable works such as Meals on Wheels and the SPCA, to name a few.
Burial will follow at the Pine View Cemetery, Queensbury.
