Irving F. Ames died Monday at his home, Oak Hill, Town of Cambridge. Mr. Ames a well known farmer and lifelong resident of the town, was born Feb. 8, 1884. He was a member of the Modern Woodsmen of Cambridge.
Surviving are his wife, the former Nellie Surdam; three daughters, Mrs. Carroll Wilson of Buskirk, Mrs. Lotan Mosher of Greenwich and Mrs. Robert Harrington of Buskirk; two sons, Franklin Ames of Buskirk and Eugene S. Ames of Eagle Bridge, and nine grandchildren.
The funeral was conducted Wednesday at 2 P.M. at the family home by the Rev. John Marsh. Interment was in Woodlands Cemetery.
