Kenneth Ray Wiley, 62, of Man, departed this life Friday, February 14, 2014, at Williamson Appalachian Regional Hospital at Williamson, Ky., after an apparent heart attack.

Born July 2, 1951, at Logan, he was a son of the late Carlos and Minnie Porter Wiley.

Kenneth was a retired coal miner and a member of the UMWA. He enjoyed playing Bingo, socializing with all of his friends, and hunting and fishing with his two grandsons.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Allen Wiley, Carlos "Junior" Wiley, and Bill Wiley, one sister, Roberta Donnelly, one son-in-law, Earl David Gillispie Jr., his father-in-law, Roy Adkins, and one brother-in-law, Thomas Adkins.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 41 years, Marilyn Ruth Wiley, two daughters, Cindy "Punkin" Wiley-Lamb (Norm) of Christiansburg, VA., and Kenna "Sissy" Johnson (Mackie) of Man, five grandchildren, Kortney Gillispie (Camron Hunt), Earl Ray "Bub" Gillispie, Corey Gillispie, MacKenzie Carol Ruth Johnson, and Khloe Amy Alyse Lamb, five sisters, Rosemary Brown (Dee) of Man, Shirley Browning of North Carolina, Vanessa Smith of Logan, Helen Tabor of West Hamlin, and Viola Tipton (Paul) of Green Mountain, NC., his mother-in-law, Nellie Jo Adkins of Blacksburg, VA., a special brother-in-law, Terry Adkins of Man, many nieces and nephews, along with a host of other relatives and friends.

Services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, February 19, 2014, at Krantz-McNeely Funeral Home, with Rev. Richard Gibson officiating. Burial will follow in Highland Memory Gardens at Godby.
