She was the daughter of Isaac and Mary Cooksey of Brookville. She was married to Isaac Chapman, also of that city, August 6. 1872, and after his death in 1910, was married to William Porter, a resident of this county.
Seven children survive: Mrs. John Siefert, Earl and Floyd Chapman, of Connersville; Clyde and Roy Chapman, of Youngstown, Ohio; Howard Chapman, of Indianapolis, and Mrs. Norman Shaw, of Rushville.
