Elizabeth was married three times, first to Thomas Lewis "Steptoe" Elgar, second to Thomas Buckle White and third to a Mr. James Nelson Bellamy. She was the mother of William Thomas White and Lewis Edward White.

Miss Elizabeth Benson married Thomas Lewis Elgar on 25 February 1855 at Itawamba County, Mississippi.

Thomas B White married Mrs. Elizabeth B Elgar on 31 August 1863 at Itawamba County, Mississippi. - This is her second husband.

On 14 March, 1922, the death angel claimed as its own, Mrs. Elizabeth B Bellomy, an aged citizen of Paduach. She was buried in the cemetery in Paducah, Texas.

This good woman lived to the ripe age of 85 years, three months and 12 days and was generally beloved by all the citizens of Paducah.

Her life had been one of usefulness and unselfish service to others, and now the Master has called her gentle spirit to the Land Above, where with loved ones goes on before, she awaits the coming of those left on earth, to enjoy throughout Eternity the reunion of the blessed.

Survived by one daughter - Mrs. A. Dumont and one son - L.E. White.
