MRS. DOROTHY MAY BLACK
Wife of Thomas Black of PineCroft, died Saturday at 7.05 p. m.at Mercy hospital after one week's
illness of pneumonia. She was born in Altoona, April 19, 1924, a daughter of William Grant and Ida (Frederick)Forrester and was married to
Mr. Black, Aug. 10, 1940. Surviving are her husband; two children Franklin Denver and Edgar George,at home; her mother, Mrs. Ida
Chronister, Pinecroft, and the following brothers and sisters, Mrs. W.H. Rice, New Galilee; Mrs. G. F. Miedi and Mrs. Alice Ramey of Altoona;Mrs. R. C. White, Antis; Mrs.
I. M. Snyder, Altoona; Mrs. B. W. Edwards and G. F. Forrester of Hollidaysburg;
T. H. of Lawton, Okla.; J. B. of Clearville; Ernest Forresterof Bath, N. J., and Mearl and Wesley G. Chronister, both at home.
Mrs. Black was a member of the
United Brethren church. Friends will be received at the home of her mother, Mrs. Chronister in Pinecroft.
