John J. Shayne (sic-Shane} died at St. Agnes Hospital, Baltimore, yesterday, after an Illness of a year and a half, aged 47 years. Mr. Shayne contracted the grip in a blizzard which led to complications. He was a brother of the Mrs. William Walsh and an uncle of William E. Walsh, this city. Mr. Shayne was a native of Cumberland. His remains were brought here Tuesday afternoon for interment where the remains of the parents of the deceased are buried. (Courtesy of Pat Dailey)
