Jerald Robinson, a resident of Georgetown since 1965, died Friday, Jan. 27, at his home. Mr. Robinson, 68, was the husband of the late Betty Lawson Robinson, and the father of Rose Stanton of Georgetown.
Mr. Robinson was born in Bridgeport on Sept. 18, 1937, a son of the late Earl B. and Johanna V. VanLangen Robinson. Before his retirement in 1993, he had been employed at Connecticut Light & Power Company as a control operator. He was also a member of the Georgetown Volunteer Fire Department for many years.
In addition to his daughter, Rose Stanton, he is survived by a son, Richard Robinson of Hundersville, N.C., another daughter, Jane Sadowski of South Kent; seven grandchildren; and his nephew, Donald Smith of Shelton.
