SHREVEPORT, LA- Graveside service for Danny Ray Wells, Sr., 61, will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, February 17, 2014 at Forest Park West Cemetery. Officiating will be Father David Carter. Visitation with the family will be from 2:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. Sunday, February 16, 2014 at Rose-Neath's Southside Chapel.
Danny was born on September 6, 1952 in Shreveport, LA and passed away on February 13, 2014. He was employed in transport services as a truck driver.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Betty Jo Wells and sister, Sarah Rose Terrell. Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Betty Sistrunk Wells; Son, Danny Ray Wells, Jr.; father, Fredric D. Wells; brother, Rick Wells; sisters, Cindy Wells Carter and Susan Wells Todd; numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Billy Wilkerson, Thurman Lee, Russell Wilson, Terry Stroud, Larry Mitchell and Doug Brown.
