Joy M. Andersen, 62, went to be with our Lord and Savior on June 2, 2010 at her home.
Memorial services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, June 7, 2010 at Kayser's Chapel. Arrangements are in care of Kayser's Chapel & Crematory. Joy was born to Truman and Minnie Tippets on October 7, 1947 in Salt Lake City, Utah. Joy is survived by her four children Tammy (Larry) Bronson, Mary Collins, Randy (Elizabeth) Westenskow and Jody Westenskow and her two step sons, Steven Madsen and Johnny Baze.
Joy has the following grand children; Shelly (Brad) Gioletti, Larry Q. Bronson Jr., Shauna (Andrew) Bronson, Jared (Amy) Bronson, Steve (Courtney) Godwin, Flavia Godwin, Kevin Westenskow, Amber Westenskow, Becky Westenskow, Lyndsey Westenskow, and Leasey Westenskow.
Once Joy had her first great grandchild, she was known as Grandma G. Grandma G has twelve great grandchild; Emily, Austin, Jason, Cloe, Savannah, Shyanne, Emma, Joseph and Baby Boy Cameron, Jaycee, Makayla and McKenzie.
Joy is preceded in death by her parents, siblings, her son, Glen Westenskow and grandchild, Aubrey Westenskow.
Grandma G has touched many people throughout her life and will continue to so even after death. Her touch, laughter, smile and most of all, her love will be missed by everyone. We all hold you in our hearts Grandma G.
"Perhaps my time seemed all too brief. Don't lengthen it now with undue grief. If my parting has left a void, then fill it with remembered joy. Be not burdened with times of sorrow, I wish you the sunshine of tomorrow."
