Lola Valgos-Parker, 89, entered into rest on February 2, 2014 in Modesto, CA. She was born on July 20, 1924 in Wagner, Oklahoma.

She is preceded in death by her loving parents Lawrence and Georgia Brummett, her son Stephen Valgos, and her 12 siblings.

She will be missed by her loving sons Glenn Puthuff (Rochelle), Jim Puthuff (Patricia), Dennis Puthuff (Barbara), and Michael Valgos (Marilyn). She will also be missed by her 17 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren.

Lola enjoyed listening to country western music, and loved to dance whenever given the opportunity. She also loved to collect antiques. She retired from Safeway Bakery after working there for 13 loyal years. After retiring, she devoted her life to her children and grandchildren. She will truly be missed, and never forgotten.

Franklin & Downs Funeral Home is honored to be serving Lola's family.

A Visitation will be held on Friday - February 7, 2014 from 9:00 A.M. - 10:00 A.M., followed by a Chapel Service at 10:00 A.M. at Franklin & Downs Funeral Home - 1050 McHenry Avenue in Modesto.

A Graveside Service will be held immediately after the Chapel service at Ceres Cemetery - 1801 East Whitmore Avenue in Ceres.
