Paul W. Pennington, (1919 - 2012), age 93, died Monday, December 17, 2012 in Bullhead City, Ariz. A 28-year resident of Bullhead City, Mr. Pennington was born on May 17, 1919 in Devil's Fork, West Virginia.
Mr. Pennington was employed as a computer analyst for Warner Bros., and served in the U.S. Army during WWII.
During retirement, he enjoyed building and flying radio-controlled planes. Along with his wife, Evelynn, he enjoyed square-dancing and they were members of the Desert Square Dance Club. He was a lifetime member of C.R.A.P.S. and R.C. Club in Bullhead City. He loved fishing and boating, and was an avid water-skier. After his retirement, Mr. and Mrs. Pennington traveled, visiting forty-six of the fifty states.
Paul was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Bruce Pennington.
He is survived by his wife, Evelynn Pennington of Bullhead City, Ariz.; two sons, Paul William (Carrie) Pennington II of Bodfish, Calif., and Hershall (Vivian) Pennington of Mebane, N.C.; two stepsons, Steven (Gaul) Brickley of Thailand, and Randy (Eda) Brickley of Stevenson, Wash.; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and a host of loving nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, January 4, 2013 at the Hope United Methodist Church, 1355 Ramar Road, Bullhead City, Ariz.
