MRS. MARY M. BOMAR DIES AFTER SIX WEEKS' ILLNESS

Native of Columbia and Resident Charlotte Eleven Years. Funeral Today at 4 O'clock.

Mrs. Mary M. Bomar, aged 77 years, died yesterday morning at 5 o'clock at her home, 1015 West Trade street, following an illness of 12 weeks, resulting from a fall in which her hip was dislocated.

She was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. George Huggins and a native of Columbia, S. C., she and her husband, the late James. T. Bomar, having moved to Charlotte 11 years ago from Greenville, S. C. Mr. Bomar dropped dead on the street here nine years ago.

Mrs. Bomar was a member of St. Peter's Episcopal chuch in this city and was a beloved Christian woman.

She is survived by five children, including George H. and James C. Boar, with whom she lived in this city; John E., Daniel B. and Edward L. Bomar, of Birmingham, Ala. One sister, mrs. Michael Horne, of Pittsburgh, Pa., and two brothers, George Huggins, of Columbia and John L. Huggins, of Atlanta, also survive.

The funeral services will be held this afternoon at 4 o'clock at the residence, in charge of Rev. E. A. Penick, Jr., rector of St. Peter's Episcopal church. Interment will be in Elmwood.

Pallbearers will include John L. Thompson, R. E. Smith, John Wilkinson, C. E. B. Mendenhall, W. A. Schrock, Jr., H. M. Riggins.
