DRINKS ALCOHOL, DEATH FOLLOWS IN SHORT TIME
Matt Sleik Succumbs After Returning To Iron Mountain
Matt Sleik, 30, former employee of the Ford Motor Company & von Platen-Fox Lumber Company, died at 7:30 p.m. last night at the home of his brother, John, 47, 507 Margaret Street, as the result of having drank denatured alcohol at Marinette, Wisconsin.
According to his brother, he had been unable to find steady employment & had been shifting around trying to find it. He left Iron Mountain on March 17 & no further word was receive from him until Saturday evening. He died while the physician was trying
to aid him.
He was unmarried; beside his brother, John, a sister, Mrs. Martha Heibine, survives.
