Sara Farley Egger, 78 of Caledonia, MS passed away Tuesday, February 11, 2014 at University Medical Center, Jackson, MS.
Mrs. Egger was born August 23, 1935 in Columbus, MS to the late Berry Turner and Ina Bell Farley. She was a member of Scheaffer's Chapel United Methodist Church. Mrs. Egger taught in the Lowndes County School system for over 30 years. She enjoyed fishing and taking care of her family.
Mrs. Egger is survived by her husband-Lawrence "Searcy" Egger, Sr. and her son-Lawrence "Skip" Egger, Jr.
A graveside service will be held Friday, February 14, 2014 at 11:00 AM at Egger Cemetery, Caledonia, MS with Bro. Mike Smith officiating and Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS directing.
