Reuben Harold Strange, 93, of Lindsborg, passed away February 12, 2014.

He was born March 27, 1920, the son of Jesse and Mary Jane (Wallace) Strange in Miller County, MO.

On June 15, 1944, Reuben was united in marriage with Muriel E. Nelson in McPherson, KS.

He was preceded in death by 6 brothers, and 3 sisters.

Reuben leaves behind many loved ones including his wife, Muriel, son Richard Strange (Lynn) of Salina, daughter, Cheryl Fletcher (Mark) of Baldwin City, KS, four grandchildren: Jeremy Strange (Ashley) , Zach Strange (Dinah), Katina Lamberty (Paul), and Karie Thomas (Bob); eight great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be Friday, February 14, from 4-7 pm with family present from 6-7 pm at Christians Funeral Home, Lindsborg.

A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday, February 15, at Trinity United Methodist Church, Lindsborg, with burial following at Elmwood Cemetery at 4:30 pm.
