Leonard Lombard Sr.
Leonard Lombard Sr., 96, Princeton, died Feb. 19, 2006.
He was born May 10, 1909 in Iowa, the son of David and Lillian (Vance) Lombard. He attended grade school in Iowa. On Nov. 22, 1939, he married Alberta Kuiper in Northwood, Iowa.
They lived and farmed in several locations in Minnesota before moving to Princeton after his retirement in 1977.
Survivors include his wife, son Leo Jr., daughter Betty Lane, 11 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by 10 brothers and sisters and one grandson.
The funeral was Feb. 23 at First Congregational Church, Princeton.
Pallbearers were Kevin Anderson, Shane McCarty, Blaine Lewer, Roland Jr. Wagner, Allan Kuiper and Jerry Schultz.
Burial was at Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Owatonna.
