Lisa Yvonne Mayberry, the daughter of Robert and Marsha Mooney Mayberry, was born October 6, 1963, at West Covina, Calif. She attended grade school in West Covina and in 1976 she moved with her family to Eagle Grove. At the time of her death she was an eighth grade student at the Eagle Grove Middle School.
Lisa died Sunday, September 25, at Trinity Regional Hospital in Fort Dodge at the age of 13 years, eleven months and 19 days.
Survivors include her parents, Clifford and Marsha Thorn, Jr.; her father, Robert Mayberry, California; materal grandmother, Ruth Sanders, West Covina, Calif.; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Thorn; great-grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Walter Thorn; two brothers: Timothy Martin Thorn and Clifford Aaron Thorn; and two sisters: Roberta Lynne Mayberry and Patti Adriann Mayberry, Eagle Grove.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, September 27 at 2 p.m. at First Baptist Church, Eagle Grove. Rev. Charles Dutton officiated and burial was in the Rose Hill Cemetery, Eagle Grove.
