GALVESTON — Bonnie Lee Stockton Schreiber, age 66, beloved wife and mother, of Galveston passed away Monday, February 25, 2013 at her residence in Galveston. Funeral services are 10:00am Friday, March 1, 2013 at Carnes Brothers Funeral Home, Reverend Rusty Martin officiating. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Galveston under the direction of Carnes Brothers Funeral Home. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Thursday, from 5:00pm until 8:00pm.Bonnie was born November 24, 1946 in Galveston, Texas to James William Stockton, Sr. and Alma Lois Forrest Stockton. Bonnie was an educator and a very independent woman. She taught school for 10 years in the Lafayette Independent School District before moving back to Galveston where she taught at Burnett, Parker and Austin retiring in 2011. She was a member of the Island Church in Galveston.Preceded in death by her parents, survivors include her husband of 45 years, Joe Schreiber; daughter, Mareia Schreiber; sister, Erin Hansen and husband Andrew; brother, James Stockton; aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Pallbearers are Jordan Hansen, Chad Hansen, Trey Hansen, Ryan Hansen, Ronnie Schreiber and Donnie Schreiber.February 27, 2013Galveston Daily News
