Mrs. Sarah Parrott was born on December 23, 1886 in New Burnside, the daughter of Benjamin and Susan Weston Belford.
She married Amiel Parrott on November 4, 1914. Surviving were her husband and children, Benjamin and Mrs. Susan Reichrath of Murphysboro.
Mrs. Parrott was a member of the First Church of Christ Scientist in Murphysboro.
She died at the age of 76 on Sunday, December 22, 1963 at her Murphysboro home. She died one day before her 77th birthday. Her funeral service was held at Crawshaw Mortuary Chapel in Murphysboro.
