His wishes were to be cremated and the family will greet friends for a time of visitation at Colyell Baptist Church, until time of memorial service. Burial will follow at Colyell Community Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Wanda Guitreau Thornton; children, Damien Thornton and wife, Elizabeth, Denee Aydell and husband, Dusty, and Darcie McMorris and husband, Jeron; grandchildren, Gavin, Grace, and Genna McMorris, Camden and Cason Aydell, and Avery Thornton; parents, Pete and Juliette Watts Thornton; and sisters, Barbara Sibley and Velda Smith.
The family would like to express a special thank you to his sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Latricia and Bobby Guitreau for their love and care during this difficult time for our family.
