He was a retired engineer for Conrail; a veteran of World War I; a member of Robert Burns Lodge 464, F & AM; Harrisburg Consistory; Zembo Shrine Temple; and Sheret American Legion Post 35 and VFW post 259, both of Albion.

Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Ruth Perrin Fortenbaugh; a sister, Mrs. Leora Collier of Marysville; and several nieces and nephews.

Services will be held Thursday at 1 pm at the funeral home at 212 Maple Ave. The Rev. Donald N. Stover will officiate. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Duncannon.
