N. GENEVIEVE HEMLINGER, 89, of Leo, died Sunday, Sept. 26, 2004, at Visiting Nurse and Hospice Home in Fort Wayne. Born in Adams County, she was the daughter of William and Alethea (Roop) Noll. She worked as a Licensed Practical Nurse at Lutheran Hospital for 12 years, retiring in 1977, and was a member of Faith United Methodist Church in Fort Wayne. Surviving are daughters, Barb (Richard) Gibson of Leo, Anita Sullivan of Fort Wayne and Claudia (Stevan) Kissinger of Fort Wayne; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; a brother, and five sisters. She was preceded in death by her husband, Claud Hemlinger, Nov. 21, 1993. Service is 2 p.m. Thursday at Covington Memorial Funeral Home, 8408 Covington Road, with Pastor Frank Jones officiating. Calling is from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, and one hour before service, Thursday. Burial at Covington Memorial Gardens. Preferred memorials are to Faith United Methodist Church.
