CAZENOVIA — Linda R. Duren, 46, passed away Monday, Sept. 26, 2011, at Aurora Medical Center in Green Bay.

She was born Nov. 1, 1964, in Madison, the daughter of Paul and Milda Richardson Lacy. On Sept. 23, 1989, Linda was united in marriage to Timothy Duren at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Reedsburg. This marriage was blessed with two children.

Linda was employed as a bookkeeper through the years, working at Chiquoine and Krueger Law Office, Hankscraft, Moy, Borchert and Erbs and recently at Addison Machine, all in Reedsburg.

Linda loved spending time with her family. She attended all the sporting events her children participated in and was an active supporter of the Weston wrestling and football clubs. In her free time, she enjoyed restoring antiques and home improvement. She also took pride in her yard and flower gardens.

Linda is survived by her husband, Tim; son, Nate Duren; daughter, Lacy Duren; parents, Paul and Milda Lacy of Fitchburg; sisters, Melissa (Don) Cliff of Madison, Louise (Robert) Peterson of Stoughton, Lora (Bruce) Waddell of Cottage Grove, Teresa (Conrad) Peterson of Fitchburg, Diane (Larry) Schmid of Stoughton, Joan (Ken) Kleinheinz of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and Jeri (Patrick) Breen of Cottage Grove; brother- and sisters-in-law, Lisa Giacomini of San Diego, Calif., Dennis Duren of Reedsburg and Lori Zobel of Reedsburg; 19 nieces and nephews; and countless relatives and friends.

A Mass of Christian burial will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday at Holy Family Catholic Church in LaValle, with the Rev. Lorin Bowens officiating. Burial will follow in St. Anthony's Catholic Cemetery, Germantown. A visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Cazenovia Chapel, where the Rosary will be prayed at 7:30 p.m. Friends also may call from 10 a.m. until the time of service on Friday at the church.

Memorials are preferred in lieu of flowers. Farber Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
