Pansy L. Stephenson, 83, Fruitland Park, Fla., and formerly of Terre Haute, passed away at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 25, 2002, at her daughter's residence in Fruitland Park. Born June 26, 1919, in Linton, she was the daughter of Robert and Myrtle (Risher) Wools. She was a former terminal manager for I and S Trucking Lines in Terre Haute. She was a member of American Legion 239 Ladies Auxiliary in Mount Dora, Fla. Survivors include three daughters, Virginia Hieston of Summerfield, Fla., Margaret "Maggie" Judd of Fruitland Park, Fla., and Judith Stephenson of Terre Haute; one sister, Elizabeth West of Linton; two brothers, Clarence Wools of Linton and Kenneth Wools of Terre Haute; eight grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Lewis Stephenson on June 14, 1984; one daughter, Linda Stephenson; several brothers and sisters; and her parents. Funeral services will be at Callahan Funeral Home in Terre Haute at 11 a.m. on Tuesday with Michael Judd and Larry Cox, grandsons, officiating.
Graveside services are at 1:30 p.m. at Maple Hill Cemetery in Plainfield.
