Wife of Senator Glen H. Taylor. In the early 1940's, faced with the issue of his age in an upcoming election for senator, the Taylor's developed a hairpiece in the hope of making Glen look younger. The hairpiece, named the Taylor Topper, was a success and became the first major mass-market men's toupee to be made outside of Hollywood, California. In 1958, the Taylor's moved the company to Millbrae, California where it is still located today.
