Mrs. Joe Allgood, a longtime Bollinger County teacher, died November 18, 1983 in Southeast Hospital at Cape Girardeau. She was 90 years old. The former Miss Mae E. Eaker was born January 15, 1893 in Bollinger County.
On January 16, 1915 she married Mr. Allgood. He preceded her in death.
She was a member of Lutesville Methodist Church.
Surviving are one son, Laymon A. Allgood of Cape Girardeau, MO; one brother, Glen Eaker of Cape Girardeau, MO; two grandsons; and two great-grandchildren.
Service was Sunday at Baker Funeral Home. Burial was in Dry Creek Cemetery.
