Donna Sue Hines, 61, of Nocatee, Florida passed away with her family by her side on December 10, 2013. Donna was born in London, England and moved to Desoto County in 1965.
She worked as a Medical Records Transcriptionist and was the Medical Records Department Officer Manager at Desoto Memorial Hospital for many years. Donna thoroughly enjoyed her job. She was a loving woman and very attentive to the needs of others. Donna was affiliated with North Hillsborough Baptist Church.
Donna is survived by her husband, Glen Hines, of Nocatee, Florida, son, Glenn (Amy) Hines of Newberry, Florida, daughters; Glenda (Jeff) Camarda, of Land O Lakes, Florida, Laura Aldret, of Arcadia, Florida, father, William Kerce, sister, Diane (Earl) Lyons, of Nocatee, Florida, grandchildren; Caleb Hines, Amber Ruiz, Jose "Mickey" Ruiz, Charles Hines, Brianna Hines, Tianna Hines, Travis Hines, Kyle Neads, R.J. Bellflower, Zachary Aldret, Tucker Aldret, great grandchildren; Macy Grace Bellflower and Serenity Hines.
Donna was preceded in death by her mother, Peggy Skates Kerce and her brother, Richard "Dickie" Kerce.
A visitation will be held on Friday, December 13, 2013 from 11-1 pm at Ponger Kays Funeral Home, Arcadia. Funeral Service will begin at 1:00 pm with Pastor Ellis Cross officiating.
Burial will follow at Oak Ridge Cemetery.
Arrangements are by Ponger Kays Grady Funeral Home, Arcadia, Florida.
