•Her son, Earl's obituary:
Judson-On Tuesday morning, April 6th, at 7:30 a pall of sadness came over community when it was learned that Jesus sent his Angels to the home of Mr. and Mrs. William Adams and claimed their youngest son, Earl. He was only ill a few days with pneumonia and his death came as a distinct surprise to his numerous friends and relatives. Though tended by loving hands and every comfort provided, he fell asleep with Jesus. Bravely he fought life's battles and as bravely he bore his sufferings with uncomplaining fortitude. He was 20 years of age-just budding into manhood-a noble young man and loved by all who knew him.
Besides a host of relatives and friends he leaves to mourn his loss a devoted father, who is very ill, a mother, four brothers, Will, Rufus, John Quincy and Harris Adams, five sisters, Mrs. Grover Lamb, Mrs. Henry Dennis, Mrs. Charlie Huffman, Mrs. Ollie Black and Miss Flora Adams. His remains were laid to rest in the cemetery at Mt. Hebron. Much sympathy is extended the bereaved ones in their hour of sorrow. May the Lord bless them.
