services for Albert Madewell, 94, of Nashville, formerly of Buffalo Valley, will be held at 2 p.m. on Fri., Nov. 12, at Mt. Olivet Funeral Home. Burial will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery in
Davidson County. The family will receive friends from 4-8 p.m. today, Thurs., Nov. 11, at the funeral home located at 1101 Lebanon Rd., Nashville.
Mr. Madewell died on Wed., Nov. 10, 1999, in Nashville.
He was born on March 21, 1905, in Putnam County to the late Jim and Lucy Whitehead Madewell. Mr.
Madewell was a retired farmer.
His family includes a son, Billy Madewell of Nashville; three daughters, Ruby Christian of Brentwood, Brenda Bevans of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., and Reba Derryberry of Donelson; a brother, Douglas Madewell of Baxter; two sisters, Winnie Uhles and Glenda Bush, both of Buffalo Valley; six grandchildren; and 12 great grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Bobby Madewell.
