Franklin L. Tillery, 72, of Van Buren died Monday, April 4, 2005, in a local hospital. He was a retired chief petty officer in the Navy, having served in the Korean and Vietnam wars, and received the National Defense Medal, Navy Good Conduct Medal, the Vietnam Gallantry Cross, Korean Service Medal and China Service Medal. He was the widower of Patricia Tillery.
Funeral was held at 1 p.m. Friday at Gill Cemetery Arbor with burial at Gill Cemetery in Van Buren under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home of Van Buren.
He is survived by a daughter, a son, three sisters, two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
