Gertrude Loose, 80 of the Calumet Homestead, Formerly of W360 Riverview Rd., Chilton, passed away on Saturday, March 29, 1997 at the home.
She was born Nov. 11, 1916 in the Town of Rockland, daughter of the late Carl and Anna (Dallmann) Lau.
She married Elmer Loose on Oct. 16, 1937. She worked at the Chilton Metal Products, was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Rantoul, the Ladies Aid and the LWML.
She is survived by three sons and four daughters-in-law, Rev. Rodney and Vera Loose of Shreveport, LA. Wesley and Evelyn Looses of Chilton, Duane and Rhonda Loose of Brillion, Cheryl Knier of Kiel; 12 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; one sister, Rufina Loose of rural Reedsville and one brother, Edwin Lau of Collins.
She was preceded in death by her husband Elmer, one sone Darrell and three brothers, Clarence Lau, Roy Lau and Warden Lau.
Funeral services will be at 5 p.m. on Friday, April 4, 1997 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Rantoul with the Rev. Kurt Taylor officiating.
Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
Friends may call at the church on Friday from 2 p.m. until the time of service.

The Wieting Funeral Home of Brillion, assisted the family with arrangements.
