Graveside service for Bobby Edward Mosley, 77, of Nacogdoches will be at 11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 14, 2014, at Douglass Cemetery with Bro. Randy Arnold officiating. Mr. Mosley died Tuesday, Feb. 11, 2014, in Nacogdoches. He was born March 11, 1936. Laird Funeral Home.

Bobby Edward Mosley, age 77, of Nacogdoches joined his heavenly father on February 11, 2014 after a long illness. He was born on March 11, 1936 in Chireno, Texas to parents Clarence Mosley and Lillian Mosley. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. He was an avid fan of all sports. He especially enjoyed coaching with the Nacogdoches Little League where he proudly coached the Gold Sox team for twenty years. During this time he gained many lasting friendships. He loved fishing and hunting. He attended Douglass High School and graduated in 1956. While in high school Mr. Mosley played for the high school basketball team. Mr. Mosley retired in 2003 from Denny Oil Company after 38 years of employment.
He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years Nannie Ruth "Nan" Mosley, his daughter Kathy and her husband Bobby Perry of Livingston & Douglass, his son Bobby Mosley Jr. and his wife Julie of Nacogdoches, grandsons Jeremy Perry and his wife Lisa of Douglass, Bobby Mosley III of Austin, Gary Wardlaw of Nacogdoches, granddaughters Sabrina Mosley and Whitney Wardlaw of Nacogdoches; great-grandchildren Bryce McLeod and Katie and Caroline Perry of Douglass; brothers Robert Gilbert and wife Sherry, and Ricky Nelson; aunts Virginia Jordan and husband Paul of Nacogdoches and Leverne Wade and husband Willie of Diboll.; sister in law Pauline Duncan and brothers -in -law Joe Slay and Dewey Rusk; special friends Donald and Shirley Ferguson of Nacogdoches.
In addition to his parents, Bobby was preceded in death by his grandson Brian David Perry, his brothers Charles and Billy Mosley, Glenn Gilbert and his sister Louise Knipe.
